The Second Injury Fund (SIF) was created in 1975 as an incentive to employers to KNOWINGLY hire and retain a person with a pre-existing and permanent physical or mental impairment an opportunity to limit the workers’ compensation liability should that person sustain a compensable work-related injury.
This will be an interactive workshop for you to gain valuable knowledge about the SIF with Merideth Wilson, Special Funds Coordinator and Managed Care Specialist with the NH Department of Labor. You won’t want to miss this important event!
